I’m sick, but my Steam Deck is back home!

This week was super cool because I got my Steam Deck back from Valve. The screen stopped working out of nowhere and after all the troubleshooting I still couldn’t get it back so I sent it back to Valve. Their RMA process is super simple and painless and I didn’t have to pay anything. They sent me a shiny new Steam Deck with a working screen. I kind of wish they messed up and sent me back an OLED Deck, but I can only dream eh?

After setting it up again, I was ready to get back into gaming. I had plans to work over the weekend, but I got sick and had to stay home. It wasn’t fun being sick, but it did give me a lot of time to play some of my favorite old-school games again.

One of the first things I wanted to try was playing Switch games on my Steam Deck using something called Yuzu. I’m a huge fan of Zelda games, and there was one I hadn’t played yet called “Zelda: Skyward Sword.” I’ve loved Zelda games forever, especially “Ocarina of Time” and “Breath of the Wild.” Starting “Skyward Sword” was really exciting, and I’m loving it so far.

I didn’t play a lot of other games, but I did try “Mario Wonder” on the Steam Deck, and it worked really well. I’m looking forward to playing more of it because it looks super fun.

Getting my Steam Deck fixed and playing these games made my week awesome. It reminded me why I love gaming so much. It’s not just about playing; it’s about going on adventures and discovering new worlds. I can’t wait to see what other games I can play on my Steam Deck. Gaming is just the best, and I’m excited to share more of my adventures with you.
